Additional comments:
(from Mike Couffer) This is one of the Cabrillo Aquarium-raised GSBs that is being raised at Heal the Bay Aquarium (aka Santa Monica Pier Aquarium) under the Santa Monica Pier, Los Angeles County. They picked it up after I photographed the hoard and sent you the photos of the 430 fish. Maybe you could just tag this individual in your system as being kept at Heal The Bay so that if it is ever released it will have a longer history to follow. Fish is 10 in long at time of photograph. This is the same fish from Cabrillo Marine Aquarium as https://spottinggiantseabass.msi.ucsb.edu/encounters/encounter.jsp?number=6eef985e-2c70-4804-bdfd-8db0f5807aae
