Additional comments:
This was the second of four giant sea bass observed on Saturday 6-10-2023. The fish in the background (with torn second dorsal fin) has already been reported on. This fish was hovering amongst the kelp in 25 feet of water. It was in very close proximity to two others. The fourth giant was 30-50 yards away. The fish in the video was very "clean" and had no obvious scars or tags. The only defects were in the pelvic fins which had at lease one major tear (1.5-2.5 inches) each, between the fin rays.
